Realme launched the Realme GT Master Edition handset back in August in India. The company has been rolling out software updates for the device on a monthly basis. In a new development, the Chinese smartphone brand has now started rolling out a new update for the Realme GT Master Edition handset in India. The latest update for the Realme GT Master Edition comes with firmware version RMX3360_11.A.09 and the OTA has an update size of around 179MBs.
Realme took to the Realme Community forum to make an announcement for the same. Let us take a closer look at what the update has in store for Realme GT Master Edition users.
Realme GT Master Edition December 2021 A.09 Update Changelogs: Features and Bug Fixes
Along with the December 2021 Android security patch, the update also brings an updated WiFi firmware which, as per the company, will improve the WiFi connection stability. Realme has also fixed the bug due to which WhatsApp pictures weren’t getting saved on the devices. Apart from it, Realme has also fixed the audio bug because of which users faced voice noise problems when the speaker and recording were enabled at the same time during a call. Security
● Updated Android security patch: Dec, 2021.
WLAN
● Updated new WiFi firmware to improve WiFi stability.
System
● Fixed a very low probability when the phone for a long time is not shut off then camera crash issue.
● Fixed the problem that the connection is still displayed on the PC after the PC connect feature is abnormally disconnected.
Audio
● Fixed the voice noise problem when the speaker and recording are enabled at the same time during a call in special environments.
Application
● Fixed a very low probability of WhatsApp not being able to save pictures issue.
Realme confirmed that this is a phased rollout, so it might take up to a couple of weeks for the update to appear on your Realme GT Master Edition unit. It is expected to announce the Realme UI 3.0 Early Access program for the Realme GT Master Edition handset this month itself. However, with only 2 days left in the month, it will be interesting to see if the company manages to deliver on its promise of releasing the Realme UI 3.0 Early Access build for the Realme GT Master Edition.
