Realme held an event in China earlier today to announce the Realme GT Neo 2T smartphone, Realme Q3s smartphone, and the Realme Watch T1 smartwatch. The Realme GT Neo 2T will replace the original GT Neo (also known as the Realme X7 Max in India). It will bring a design overhaul and a chipset upgrade while retaining other aspects of the GT Neo. The Realme Watch T1 brings a comprehensive set of features and a neon design theme with black stripes, similar to the recently-launched Realme GT Neo 2 (Snapdragon version).

The Realme X7 Max (GT Neo) was its last handset to carry the ‘X’ moniker and was quite popular with gamers as well as regular users. Now, the smartphone has received a successor in the form of GT Neo 2T in China.
Thankfully it carries an understated design at the back in comparison to the Realme X7 Max’s flashy rear, which came with a tacky and big ‘Dare To Leap’ branding. The handset comes in Jet Black and Glaze White colours. The rear panel is still polycarbonate and the handset measures the same as its predecessor but it is a bit heavier (186g). It sports a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits of peak brightness.
The handset is now powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI processor as opposed to the non-AI (Artificial Intelligence) Mediatek Dimensity 1200 chipset used in its predecessor. The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI chipset is also used in the OnePlus Nord 2, and Realme says it brings a couple of improvements in processing over the standard one. The phone has stainless steel vapour cooling tech, which promises to reduce the core temperature by up to 15 degrees celsius.
On the photography front, it retains the same 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The selfie shooter is also carried over, which uses a 16MP sensor. The Realme GT Neo 2T is powered by a 4,500mAh battery inside and is compatible with 65W charging as opposed to 50W charging previously.
The Realme GT Neo 2T priced is CNY 1,899 (around ₹22,500), CNY 2,099 (around ₹24,600), CNY 2,399 (around ₹28,200) for the 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB variants, respectively, in China.

The Realme Watch T1 comes with a stainless steel dial and can be bought in either Black, Mint, or Olive Green colours. The Mint colour option comes with black stripes and ‘Dare To Leap’ branding on its silicone straps. It sports a 1.3-inch circular AMOLED display, which comes with 325ppi (Pixels Per Inch) density. The display gets Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The smartwatch comes with 50 watch faces for the AOD (Always on Display). It is rated for 5ATM water resistance, which means you can take it for a swim up to 50 meters. The watch provides real-time heart-rate monitoring, SpO2 monitoring, and sleep analysis. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and NFC. It comes with 4GB of internal storage to store your favourite music, which you can listen to by pairing wireless earphones.
The Realme Watch T1 price is CNY 699 (around ₹8,300) and the watch goes on sale in China via Realme’s website. There’s an early bird discount of CNY 100 which makes it an effective price of CNY 599 (around ₹7,000).
