Realme had recently unveiled its latest flagship smartphone in India, dubbed the Realme GT 2 Pro, months after its debut in China. The company teased its next premium handset coming to India, the GT Neo 3, at the launch event, but did not provide an official launch date. In a recent development, the brand has revealed that the GT Neo 3 will launch in India on April 29.

Realme GT Neo 3 India Launch Date Announced
Madhav Sheth, Realme’s VP and President of Realme International Business Group, stated in his most recent Ask Madhav video that the GT Neo 3 will arrive in India on April 29. Concurrently, the company has confirmed that it is working on a 5G model of its popular Realme Pad. The tablet’s specifications are currently unknown. It is highly likely that the smartphone’s specifications will remain the same as the Chinese variant.

OnSiteGo previously reported that the GT Neo 3 will be available in three colour options in the country, namely Nitro Blue, Asphalt Black, and Sprint White. The smartphone will come in three configurations—8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB.

Under the hood, the smartphone, in China, is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC and comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
There’s a triple camera setup on the back with the main 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. Selfies are handled by a 16MP Samsung S5K3P9 sensor.
The GT Neo 3 is available in two battery capacities, one with a 4,500mAh battery and the world’s first 150W fast charging solution that can charge the phone up to 50 percent in five minutes and 100 percent in less than 15 minutes. The other model gets a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging that can charge the phone up to 100 percent in 32 minutes.
