Realme Pad 5G Specs Reveal Snapdragon 870, 120Hz Display, Stylus Support

Realme stepped into the tablet segment last year with its Realme Pad device. After tasting success with it, the brand recently introduced the Pad Mini. Now, a report from Digital Chat Station, a leakster from China, indicates that Realme is working on another tablet which will fall on the higher end of the spectrum. This will be the third tablet from the Chinese brand, and will come with a premium build, powerful performance, and will be loaded with features. 

Realme Pad 5G: Features, Specifications

The Realme Pad 5G is rumoured to come with a large LCD panel with 2.5K+ resolution and a 120Hz screen refresh rate. Expect the screen size to be 10-inch or above. The design and build could be similar to the Oppo Pad tablet and will come with stylus pen support.

The Realme Pad 5G will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, which is a better performing Snapdragon processor than the most recent ones. It brings a blend of performance and battery efficiency. Additionally, the tablet can handle PUBG/BGMI and Call of Duty Mobile at 60fps with ease. It may come equipped with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.   

According to the tipster, there will be another variant of the Realme Pad 5G, which will be powered by the soon-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ (SM8475) processor. This variant could sport an OLED display and better cameras than the Snapdragon 870 variant. 

The Realme Pad 5G is believed to be powered by an 8,360mAh battery pack under its hood. Although the charging specifications aren’t out yet, you can expect it to come with fast charging support. It will run on Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 out of the box. It may be priced between ₹25,000 to ₹30,000. It is likely that Realme will bring this to India to challenge the recently launched Xiaomi Pad 5.
