Realme forayed into the Android tablet segment last year with the Realme Pad. The Realme Pad came pre-loaded with the stock version of Android 11. When the company announced the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 schedule a few months back, the Realme Pad wasn’t included in the list. Now, Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme Pad will not get the Android 12 update. However, the company plans to roll out Android security patch updates for the handset from time to time.

No Android 12 Update for Realme Pad

This is a bit surprising considering that the Realme Pad was the company’s first Android tablet, and the company is planning to expand its tablet portfolio further in 2022. On the other hand, several other Android tablets in the segment are confirmed to receive the Android 12 update. In fact, Nokia has promised Android 12 as well as Android 13 updates for the Nokia T20.
