Xiaomi has introduced its latest budget smartphone, the Redmi 10 5G, for the global markets. It is essentially a rebranded China market specific Redmi Note 11E 5G. Rumours suggest that it may arrive as an upgrade to the Redmi 10 Prime and will be called Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G in India. The Redmi 10 5G packs in a MediaTek Dimensity series chipset, a 50MP camera, 90Hz screen refresh rate, and many other features.
Redmi 10 5G (Global): Features, Specifications
The Redmi 10 5G smartphone comes with a flat side design, which is in trend currently. What’s not in trend, however, is the waterdrop notch at the front. Also, there are relatively thick bezels surrounding the screen. The handset sports a large 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD with a 90Hz screen refresh rate. The display comes with a feature that enhances brightness under direct sunlight.
The Redmi 10 5G is powered by a very potent MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, which is an octa core processor built on the 7nm fabrication process. It is equipped with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The primary is a 50MP sensor, while the secondary is a 2MP depth sensor. Selfie duties are handled by the 5MP snapper housed in the waterdrop notch at the front.
The smartphone comes with a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. It is powered by a big 5,000mAh battery under its hood. It comes with an 18-watt quick charging, and ships with a 22.5-watt charger in the box. The handset runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 11 OS.
Redmi 10 5G (Global): Price, Availability
The Redmi 10 5G comes at a starting price of $199 (approx. ₹15,084) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM + 128GB variant is priced at $229 (approx. ₹17,359). It is available in Graphite Gray, Chrome Silver, and Aurora Green colourways.
