Xiaomi has added its latest Redmi 11 Prime 4G alongside the Redmi 11 Prime 5G to its line63up of smartphones in India. As expected, the Redmi 11 Prime 4G is similar to the POCO M5 smartphone that made its debut yesterday in the country. The Redmi 11 Prime is a mid-range smartphone and offers 4G VoLTE, a 6.58-inch IPS LCD, 90Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass protection, corrosion-proof ports, MediaTek Helio G99 chipsets, and Widevine L1 certification, among other features.

The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant comes at a price tag of ₹14,999. It will be available for purchase via Amazon, Mi.com, and Mi stores. The brand will reveal its sale date soon via its social media handles. The device comes in Flashy Black, Playful Green, and Peppy Purple colourways.
Redmi 11 Prime 4G: Features, Specifications
The Redmi 11 Prime comes with a polycarbonate build and a diamond-like texture at the back. It gets a rectangular black coloured camera island at the rear and a waterdrop notch at the front. The smartphone sports a 6.58-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and gets four stages of adaptable refresh steps for improved power efficiency.
The Redmi 11 Prime is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, which is built on an efficient 6nm fabrication process. This processor made its debut in India with the Infinix Note 12 Pro and also powers the POCO M5. The device is equipped with up to 6GB of DDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
In terms of optics, the Redmi 11 Prime comes with a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 primary sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP AI depth lens. For selfies and video shooting duties, it has an 8MP shooter at the front.
Some notable features of the device include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, virtual RAM, rubberised seals, corrosion-proof ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery under its hood coupled with 22.5W fast charging support. The smartphone runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box.
