Redmi is gearing up to launch a new premium smartphone, dubbed the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition, soon in China. Although the device is expected to arrive later this month, the brand has not yet officially confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Redmi smartphone. Ahead of the launch, the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition has been listed on the Geekbench certification website. The listing reveals a few key specifications of the device. Let us take a look.

The smartphone has managed to score 1339 points in the single-core test, while a score of 4389 points has been recorded for the multi-core test. According to the Geekbench listing, the device will come equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor coupled with an Adreno 730 GPU.

Based on the listing, the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition will launch with 12GB of RAM. However, we can expect the brand to release multiple storage options for the device. The smartphone is expected to launch with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage variants. The Geekbench listing further reveals that the upcoming Redmi smartphone will run Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box.
While the other specifications of the smartphone remain unknown, we can expect it to come powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. As for the display, the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition is said to come with a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of imaging, the smartphone might offer a triple-rear camera setup, including a 200MP Samsung HP1 sensor.
