With 5G rollout around the corner, Reliance Jio is all set to launch an ultra affordable 5G smartphone in India. While the brand has not yet revealed an official launch date for the device, key specifications of the upcoming Jio Phone 5G have surfaced online via a leaked firmware. Reliance Jio Phone 5G Specifications (Expected)
91mobiles, in collaboration with developer Kuba Wojciechowski, has shared a leaked firmware, which reveals all the key specifications of the upcoming Reliance Jio Phone 5G. Going by the leaked images, the smartphone will feature a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD panel that offers a 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the smartphone will be a Snapdragon 480 processor, which will be accompanied by a Syntiant NDP115 always-on AI processor onboard. The Jio Phone 5G will pack in Samsung’s 4GB LPPDDR4X RAM and 32GB internal storage.

On the software front, the upcoming Jio Phone will run on Android 12 Operating System. It will also come pre-loaded with Google Mobile Services and a suite of Jio apps. For photography, the smartphone will offer a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera. The device will feature an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calling. Speaking of the battery, the Jio Phone 5G will be backed by a 5,000mAh unit with 18W fast charging support.
In terms of connectivity, the Jio Phone will offer options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and Bluetooth 5.1. While the there is no confirmation on the pricing of the Jio Phone 5G yet, it is expected to be priced between ₹8,000 and ₹10,000.
