Xiaomi has added another Redmi Note 11 device to its already confusing Note 11 series. The Redmi Note 11 series comprises over 15 devices, including the Chinese specific models. The new handset is called the Redmi Note 11 SE and was launched alongside the Redmi Note 11T Pro + and the Redmi Note 11T Pro in China. It dons a Poco-inspired rear design and packs in a large IPS display, a Dimensity processor, dual rear cameras, and dual-SIM 5G support, among other features.
Redmi Note 11 SE: Features, Specifications
The Redmi Note 11 SE is identical in design to the Poco M3 Pro 5G smartphone, with a few changes to its internals. The Note 11 SE sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with a 90Hz screen refresh rate. It comes with variable refresh rates and can switch to 30Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz automatically depending on the content on the screen to save the battery. The handset gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button.
The Redmi Note 11 SE is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset built on the 7nm fabrication process. The Redmi 10 5G, Redmi 10T 5G, and the Poco M3 Pro 5G also come with the same MediaTek processor. It is equipped with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.

There’s a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture, accompanied by a secondary 2MP sensor. Selfie duties are handled by the 8MP front-facing camera.
Some other noteworthy features of the Redmi Note 11 SE include dual-SIM (5G + 5G) support, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, USB Type-C port, and Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/ 5GHz). The handset draws power from the 5000mAh battery under its hood and is coupled with an 18W charging support.
Redmi Note 11 SE: Price, Availability
The Redmi Note 11 SE base variant with 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage is priced at CNY 1,099 (around ₹12,700). The higher variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage costs CNY 1,399 (around ₹16,200). The handset will go on sale in China on May 31 2022. It comes in Shadow Black and Deep Sea Blue colourways.
