Redmi Pad Spotted On Bluetooth SIG Database

Rumours are rife that Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Pad during the global launch event, which is scheduled to be held on October 4, 2022. Earlier today, complete specifications of the upcoming Redmi tablet were leaked online. As per the latest update, the Redmi Pad has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website. The listing reveals a few key details about the device. Let us take a look.

Redmi Pad Bluetooth SIG Listing Details

As seen in the image above, the Redmi Pad has been listed on the Bluetooth SIG database with the model number 22081283G. The letter G in the model number confirms that it is the global variant of the Redmi Pad. The listing reveals that the upcoming Redmi tablet will come pre-loaded with MIUI 13+ out of the box. While the database doesn’t reveal the Android version for the device, we can expect it to boot Android 12.

The Bluetooth SIG listing for the Redmi Pad also confirms that the tablet will make use of Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Apart from this, the listing doesn’t divulge any other details about the device. Based on previous leaks, the Redmi Pad will feature a 10.6-inch 2K LCD screen that offers a 90Hz refresh rate, a 10-bit colour depth, and up to 400 nits of peak brightness. Powering the tablet will reportedly be the MediaTek Helio G99 processor coupled with an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

In terms of storage, the upcoming Redmi Pad is expected to feature up to 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. For photography, the tablet might offer an 8MP rear camera with autofocus capability. For selfies and video calling, the device is reported to have an 8MP front camera, which is expected to come equipped with FocusFrame technology that utilises the 105-degree field of view.

In terms of battery, the Redmi Pad is said to be backed by a massive 8,000mAh unit with 18W fast charging support. For connectivity, we might get options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port. Other primary features of the Redmi Pad might include quad Speakers and Dolby Atmos support.
