Xiaomi Book S 12.4 With 12.35-inch LCD Display, Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 Processor Launched: Price, Specifications

Xiaomi has launched a two-in-one detachable laptop, the Xiaomi Book S 12.4, in Europe today. This latest offering from Xiaomi has a light form factor and features a 12.35-inch display. The laptop is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor which is paired with an Adreno 680 GPU. It is equipped with a 38Whr battery unit which is reported to last for 13 hours and 24 minutes, according to Xiaomi.

The Xiaomi Book S 12.4 is priced at €699 (roughly ₹57,640) and will be available via Xiaomi’s official channels. The laptop is already available for sale in Germany from today.

Xiaomi Book S 12.4 Specifications, Features

The Xiaomi Book S 12.4 features a 12.35-inch display that has WQHD+ 2,560 x 1,600 pixel resolution. The display panel has up to 500 nits peak brightness, 100% sRGB color gamut, 178-degree wide viewing angle, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Book S 12.4 is compatible with Stylus and supports touch functionality. As for the software, this new laptop runs Windows 11.

The Book S 12.4 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor. The System on Chip includes an Adreno 680 GPU, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. This new laptop from Xiaomi is equipped with a 13MP rear-facing camera and features a 5MP front-facing camera. The Book S 12.4 houses a 38Whr battery which can purportedly last for 13.4 hours. The laptop supports 65W fast charging. However, users will have to purchase the 65W GaN charger separately.

Furthermore, this new laptop has dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v5.1 support, Wi-Fi 5 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Face ID support, and one USB-C port which supports power and display output. The laptop has keyboard support which will be sold separately for around €150 (roughly ₹12,370)
