Alongside the Redmi Note 12 series of smartphones, Redmi has launched a new Smart TV in China. The new product, dubbed the Redmi Smart TV X86, comes in a single 86-inch screen variant. The TV flaunts a metal body with a frameless design to create a full-screen experience with a wide field of vision. The Redmi smart TV runs on MIUI TV Operating System and comes with support for MEMC, far-field voice control, DTS HD, and more. Redmi Smart TV X86 Price In India, Availability

The Redmi Smart TV X86 is priced at CNY 5,299 (roughly ₹56,822) in China. The smart TV will go on sale starting from October 31, 2022. The Redmi Smart TV X86 is currently available for pre-order in China. There is no word on the global launch of the product yet.

Redmi Smart TV X86 Features, Specifications

In terms of specifications, the new Redmi smart TV features a 4K display that offers a 3,840×2,160 pixel resolution, 178° viewing angle, 97.3% screen-to-body ratio, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The display also supports up to 1 billion colours and MEMC Motion technology for an improved viewing experience. On the software front, the Redmi X86 runs on MIUI TV Operating System accompanied by a home intelligent control center.

The TV comes equipped with a Cortex A55 Quad Core processor, which is coupled with a G52 MC1 (MP2) GPU for handling media and graphics. In terms of storage, it features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flash memory. The new offering from Redmi also comes with a built-in Xiao AI classmate that handles far-field voice control and weather notifications. For audio, the latest Redmi TV gets two 10W high-fidelity speakers, DTS-HD sound supports, and restored live sound effects.

Connectivity features on the Redmi X86 TV include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and Infrared connectivity. As for the ports, the TV offers one Ethernet port, two HDMI (1xARC) ports, and two USB ports including a USB 3.0 port. The new Redmi smart TV also comes with a Bluetooth voice remote control.
