Reliance JioBook Laptop Launched In India: Price, Specifications

Reliance has launched the affordable Reliance JioBook laptop in India today. The newly launched JioBook is available for sale in India via the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The JioBook is an entry-level laptop from Jio that comes powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 processor. The laptop features an 11.6-inch HD+ display and it is equipped with 2GB of RAM. According to reports, only government officials can purchase the laptop currently. However, we expect the laptop to be available to the general public in the coming days.

Reliance JioBook Price In India, Availability

The Reliance JioBook is priced at ₹19,500 in India. According to a report by 91Mobiles, the laptop can be purchased in the country via the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). As per the website listing, only 10 units of the JioBook are available for sale. However, we can expect more units to be available in the coming days. As of now, Jio is yet to officially release more details of the JioBook. It is being said that this new laptop’s sale will be available for the general public starting Diwali.

Reliance JioBook Specifications, Features

The Reliance JioBook features an 11.6-inch display that has HD 1366×768 pixels resolution. The laptop is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor which is paired with an Adreno 610 GPU. The laptop packs 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC internal storage. As for the software, this new laptop from Jio runs Jio OS.

The JioBook’s chassis material is made from ABS Plastic. The laptop has an HD webcam for video calling and comes with pre-installed apps. Additionally, it comes with a host of connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, microSD card support, 4G, USB 2.0 port, USB Gen 1 port, a HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
