ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 With 17.3-inch Display, Ryzen 6000 Series Processor Announced: Price, Specifications

After introducing the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED almost one month back, ASUS is back again with yet another 17-inch laptop. The Taiwanese company has introduced the ASUS Zenbook Pro 17, the first Zenbook with a 17.3-inch display. The laptop is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 6000 series processor. The new Zenbook Pro 17 has a 720p HD camera, an SD card reader, and it runs Windows 11 Home. Let us check out the pricing and detailed specifications of this new laptop.

ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 Pricing

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 pricing starts at $999 (roughly ₹81,500). As of now, the company has not announced the availability of the laptop yet. The Zenbook Pro 17 will be available through Amazon and Asus websites. This new offering from ASUS will compete with the likes of the Dell XPS 17 and LG Gram 17, both of which retail for around $1,849 (roughly ₹1,50,900) and $1,999 (roughly ₹1,63,100) respectively.

The all-new ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 comes with a 17.3-inch IPS display that has WQHD 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. The display panel has a 16:9 aspect ratio, 165Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut touch screen support, and an 87% screen-to-body ratio. The laptop can be configured with AMD’s Ryzen 9 6900HX CPU. The chipset can be paired with NVIDIA’s RTX 3050 GPU.

Furthermore, this new laptop ships with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD storage. The laptop has a 720p HD webcam, Hardman Kardon-certified speakers, and an SD card reader. Connectivity-wise, the Zenbook 17 Pro has a host of options such as two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, an HDMI 2.0 port, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.0.

The whole package draws power from a 76Wh battery which can be charged with the 150W AC adapter. Lastly, this new laptop measures 39.50 x 25.86 x 1.89 cm in terms of dimensions and weighs 2.49 kg.
