Reliance JioFiber Offering Broadband Connections At No Extra Cost

In a bid to boost its home broadband user base, Reliance Jio is offering a special offer to new JioFiber customers. New users of Reliance JioFiber can get the connection at zero cost booking, which means the telecom operator is not charging any installation charges or deposit fee for the broadband router on select postpaid plans. 

Reliance JioFiber postpaid plans with the benefit have a validity of three, six, or twelve month periods with perks like on-demand TV, 400+ channels, OTT subscriptions and more. The telecom operator, which is also offering an unlimited 5G data plan under its Welcome Offer, is hoping to increase its user base as a means to offset its costs of implementing expensive 5G infrastructure across the country. Reliance JioFiber is an FTTH (fiber to the home) broadband network with speeds up to 1Gbps. 

The JioFiber special benefits are for customers availing postpaid plans priced at ₹499, ₹599, ₹799, and ₹899. Subscribers of these plans will get free installation, a gateway router, a set-top box, and other items worth over ₹10,000. 

The ₹499 plan offers 30Mbps speed with on-demand TV and 400+ channels and free access to Eros Now, Universal Plus, and more. Meanwhile, the ₹599 plan also offers 30Mbps speed but packs subscriptions to Disney Plus Hotsar, Sony Liv, and more. The ₹799 plan offers 100Mbps speed with free subscriptions to Eros Now, Universal Plus, and four other OTT apps. Similarly, the ₹899 plan offers 100Mbps speed with 550+ TV channels, Disney Plus Hotstar, Sony LIV, and 12 other OTT apps. 

Airtel xStream also offers similar benefits for their long-term postpaid broadband plans and for Airtel Black members. Customers availing plans for three months validity and above get free installation, gateway router, internal wiring, and more.
