Samsung 4K, 8K Neo QLED TVs Launched In India: Price, Features

Samsung had unveiled its Neo QLED TV series during the CES 2022. The Samsung Neo QLED TV family consists of the Samsung QN700A Neo QLED 8K Smart TV and the Samsung QN85A Neo QLED smart TV. Both TVs feature the brand’s in-house Neo Quantum picture processor, four HDMI ports, and run Tizen operating systems. The brand has now launched both these TVs in India as well.

Let’s take a look at the pricing, specifications, and features of the newly launched Samsung 4K, 8K Neo QLED TVs and find out what they have in store for us.

Samsung Neo QLED TVs Price, Availability

Starting with the Samsung QN85A QLED 4K Smart TV, the 55-inch variant of the TV is priced at ₹1,48,990, the 65-inch variant is priced at ₹2,14,990, and the 75-inch model will cost you ₹4,24,990. On the other hand, the Samsung QN700A QLED 8K Smart TV comes in a single 65-inch variant and is priced at ₹3,19,990 in India.

Pre-orders for the new Samsung Neo QLED TVs will start from April 7 and will end on April 18, 2022. Those who pre-order the 4K TVs for ₹5,000 will get a discount of ₹10,000 at the time of purchase, while customers booking the 8K OLED TV for ₹10,000 will enjoy a flat discount of ₹20,000 upon purchasing the device.

Samsung Neo QLED TVs Specifications, Features

Samsung QN700A QLED 8K Smart TV

Starting with the Samsung QN700A QLED 8K Smart TV, the TV is available in a single 65-inch variant. It can deliver 8K resolution and is powered by a Neo Quantum Processor Lite. The device supports HDR10+ and HLG video formats and supports native 4K gameplay at 144Hz.

For audio, the QN700A features support for Dolby 5.1 and has a 70W 2.2 channel speaker system. Furthermore, you can also listen to audio over Bluetooth 5.2. Connectivity features of the Samsung QN700A QLED 8K Smart TV include three USB ports, one Composite In (AV) port, one Digital Audio Out (Optical) port, and Wi-Fi 6.

Lastly, the TV comes with support for a SmartThings app, a voice assistant, Microsoft 365, and has a battery-free remote.

Samsung QN85A QLED 4K Smart TV

Coming to the Samsung QN85A QLED 4K Smart TV, it comes in 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch screen size options. All three size variants offer 4K resolution and 60W 2.2.2 channel speakers. There are 2 USB ports for connectivity. The rest of the specifications of the QN85A Smart TV are the same as the 8K counterpart. The TV supports SmartThings app, has a battery-free remote, support for voice assistant, and Microsoft 365.
