A few days back, Samsung had released the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 software update for the Galaxy Tab S8. The new software update brought with it the August 2022 Android security patch and all the new features of the One UI 4.1.1. Now, in a recent development, Samsung has released the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 software update for the Galaxy Tab S7 series in France and South Korea. The update is expected to be rolled out in other markets in the coming days.

Speaking about the changes, the new software update brings in the August 2022 Android security patch and fixes various security and privacy vulnerabilities. If you are a Galaxy Tab S7 user living in France or South Korea, you might have received the new software update. If you haven’t received it yet, you can head over to Settings > Software update and tap on Download and install.
The One UI 4.1.1 software update for the Galaxy Tab S7 series brings in the Android 12L taskbar which makes multitasking easier. The new taskbar displays all the home screen dock apps and currently accessed apps which helps users to easily drag and drop apps for split-screen multitasking. Furthermore, the update also brings in new multitasking gestures which makes it easier to switch between the full-screen and split-screen modes. Thanks to the new update, the My Files app can now search within files, images, and documents.
Additionally, the Edge panel now displays the name of the pinned apps. The new update also brings in the ability to extract text from the camera app and Samsung Keyboard. The other key feature that this new update includes is “Peek-Through” for pop-over apps. With this new feature, users can touch and hold the screen in front of them to see through pop-overs.
