Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Android 12 Update Rolling Out in India and Europe

After rolling out the OneUI 4.0 update for the current generation foldable—the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Samsung has now started seeding the OneUI 4.0 update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Android 12 update comes with firmware version F916BXXS2FULE / F916BOXM2FULB / F916BXXU2FULB and is currently rolling out in India as well as Europe.

Alongside OneUI 4.0 features, the update also brings the latest December 2021 Android security patch to the foldable. Let us take a closer look at the features and changes the update brings to the device.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Android 12 Update Features and Changelogs

Samsung’s One UI 4.0 comes with several new features and enhancements. It offers a color palette that picks accent UI colors based on the wallpaper, similar to Google’s Monet theming engine. It also offers all-new enhanced dark mode, all-new widgets, face stickers, camera and microphone Indicators, new AR emoji stickers, improved Samsung Internet and Samsung Keyboard apps, updated stock apps, camera app design improvements, extra dim brightness settings, new visual charging effect, better privacy and security, and a lot more.

Samsung is yet to confirm the rollout officially, but several users have already started reporting about the development on the Samsung Members forum. The update might be rolling out in a phased manner and we can expect the company to complete the rollout in the coming weeks. However, to check for the update on your device, you can head over to Settings -> Software update.
