It will gather data from Snapchat and its new Spotlight feature to help you with your video content. The app will also let you check out what’s trending through Snapchat insights. Story Studio will come with Snapchat Sounds, stickers, as well as Lenses. Video creators will also have access to frame-precise trimming, splitting, and timing tools for more control over their edits.
Moreover, you can easily add layers, captions, and Snapchat Sounds. Once you’re done editing your video, the app lets you share directly to Snapchat via a built-in button. You can also download the video and share it to other apps.
On Tuesday, Snap announced that it had shelled out a whopping $250 million (approximately ₹1,900 crore) to more than 12,000 Spotlight creators globally over the past year. For those in the dark, Spotlight was Snap’s response to TikTok and Instagram’s Reels. This feature was launched in India in March this year.
Will you use the Story Studio app if it launches in India? Let us know in the comments.
