Sony To Restock PlayStation 5 In India, Here’s Where To Buy

Ever since the launch of the Sony PlayStation 5 in India last year, limited units of the console were available for purchase. Thankfully, the elusive PS5 will be in stock again on June 21, from 12pm onwards.

The PS5 will be available for purchase through online sites such as Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Vijay Sales, Reliance Digital, and ShopAtSC. You will be able to pre-book the console from 12pm. According to ShopAtSC, pre-booking for PS5 consoles will commence from June 21, 2022 at 12pm and deliveries will begin from June 30, 2022.

Don’t worry if you miss out on the PS5 restock this month. There’s another one scheduled for next month as well.

Sony PlayStation 5 Price

The Sony PlayStation 5 is available in two versions—the Blu-ray PS5 and the PS5 Digital Edition. The PS5 Blu-ray price is ₹49,990, while the disc-less PS5 Digital Edition costs ₹39,990. Moreover, the Blu-ray PS5 + Gran Turismo 7 bundle can be purchased for ₹54,490, which will save you ₹499.

Sony PlayStation 5 Specifications

The PlayStation 5 features a 7nm octa-core AMD CPU based on the Zen 2 architecture and clock speed of 3.5GHz. It has a custom-designed GPU with 10.28 TFLOPS of power and AMD’s RDNA 2 architecture. It has 16GB GDDR6 VRAM with 448GB/s memory bandwidth.

Additionally, the PlayStation 5 features 825GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage, USB Type-A ports, and a USB Type-C port. It supports ray tracing, 4K gaming at up to 120fps, and 8K gaming at up to 30fps. The console also allows for storage space expansion via the USB port. Moreover, it also comes with the Dual Sense gaming controller.
