However, it is only functional in night mode.
After the update, Android users will be able to see the transparent effect in the top bar of the app, as chat messages and chat lists scroll under that top bar. Reportedly, the semi-transparent UI is not supported across all Android devices, and results may vary for different device owners. Presumably, the app will soon resolve the issue by fixing bugs.
Furthermore, the new download manager added as part of the latest update will make downloading easier for both Android and iOS users. You will be able to see the progress of all new downloads and adjust priority for different downloads queued on the list. Similarly, you get the option to stop downloading and delete old files.
The latest update adds a redesigned attachment menu that lets you adjust the formatting before sending any attachments. The list does not just end here, Android users now get a new and smooth login flow with updated animations and designs.
t.me links, which were previously supported by usernames, are also expanding to phone numbers for easy access. That means Telegram users can now share their phone number as a link via their t.me username.
Further, the links are also getting updated web and in-app previews in case you are not logged on to the Telegram app. You can start enjoying the latest features by updating your Telegram app via the Play Store.
