Truecaller has launched a new chatting app called Open Doors. The new app allows users to have real-time audio conversations. Open Doors is currently available for download via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for free.
The Truecaller app is typically used to identify unknown numbers and block unwanted callers. The app recently announced a major update, which brought features such as Video Caller ID, Call Recording, Ghost call, Call Announce, alongside a redesigned interface. Let us take a look at the new Open Doors app launched by Truecaller and find out what it has in store for us.
Open Doors App For Voice Chat: Here’s How It Works
Truecaller users can sign in to the Open Doors app by simply tapping once to begin using the app by default. On the other hand, people who don’t use the app can use a missed call or a one-time-password (OTP) to confirm their contact numbers.

In order to enable real-time audio conversation with other users on the app, Open Doors will need access to your contact list and microphone. According to the firm, the app is designed to work seamlessly on both Android and iOS platforms. Open Doors ensures complete privacy and doesn’t allow chat participants to view each other’s phone numbers while having conversations.
Furthermore, users are free to join or leave a conversation at any time. To invite your friends to an audio conversation, you can send them a link. They can also choose to click on the notification received in the app to join a particular audio chat. While the audio chats in Open Doors will be regulated by the community, they won’t be stored for any purpose. The app currently supports English, Hindi, Spanish, Latin, and French languages. We can expect the app to add more languages in the future.
