To hasten the deployment of 5G smartphones in India, Vi has partnered with the global smartphone brand Vivo. The alliance officially launches at the same time as the India Mobile Congress (IMC), which is underway in New Delhi. The Vivo V25 and Vivo T1 5G handsets, which Vivo just launched, were used to successfully test the 5G spectrum bands that Vi had recently bought at the spectrum auction.
Vi and Vivo will work together as a result of this cooperation in an effort to raise the country’s percentage of smartphone users who utilise 5G technology. In order to provide its 4G customers the chance to upgrade to 5G-ready devices, Vi will continue to work with a wide range of OEM manufacturers.

That being said, Vi has still not revealed their plans for the rollout of 5G services. The company will likely see strong competition from both Jio and Airtel, which have already geared to rollout the service at a select number of cities in the coming days.
