Vivo has launched two new X70 series smartphones—Vivo X70 Pro and Vivo X70 Pro+—in India. Vivo’s latest smartphones bet big on camera and photography features. As per the Chinese company, these devices have been developed in collaboration with German optics provider Zeiss. These flagship phones from Vivo feature a sleek body with an exotic reflective coating on their back. Both the Vivo X70 Pro and the Vivo X70 Pro+ support 5G networks. On the software front, Vivo offers Android 11 with Funtouch OS 12 customisations.
Vivo X70 Pro+ Specifications
The Vivo X70 Pro+ is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset. It is paired with 12GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The X70 Pro+ sports a 6.7-inch OLED screen with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a tiny punch-hole-shaped cutout to accommodate a 32MP selfie camera at the front.
Moving around the back, you get a quad-camera setup, consisting of a 50 MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide sensor, an 8MP telephoto camera with a periscope zoom lens, and a 12 MP portrait sensor with 2x optical zoom. All four cameras are equipped with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), which Vivo likes to refer to as “Gimbal Stabilisation“. Using clever software trickery and its recently-developed custom V1 chip, the Vivo X70 Pro+ offers 360-degree horizontal line stabilisation. This feature ensures that your video stays in landscape mode even if you rotate it at extreme angles.

The phone sports a 6.5-inch OLED display with 2,376 x 1,080 pixels resolution. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. Much like its elder sibling, the X70 Pro boasts of a quad-camera setup. It features a 50MP primary lens, a 12 MP 116-degree wide lens, 12 MP portrait, an 8MP periscope snapper with 5X optical zoom. Each lens comes with OIS for smooth videos.
In terms of connectivity features, you get 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and GPS. The phone houses a 4,450 mAh battery with 44 W fast charging support.
