Vivo X80 Pro, iQOO 9 Pro Android 13 Preview Program Announced: Here’s How To Apply

iQOO and Vivo have announced the availability of Android 13 for a couple of phones. Vivo announced via Twitter that it will be releasing the Android 13 Preview Program to experience the FuntouchOS 13 on the Vivo X80 Pro starting August 26, 2022. On the other hand, iQOO will be seeding the Android 13 Preview Program for its flagship iQOO 9 Pro on August 23. The registration for this exclusive update has already commence from August 16

iQOO 9 Pro, Vivo X80 Pro Users Can Apply For Android 13 Preview Program

If you are using the iQOO 9 Pro and want to apply for the Android 13 Preview Program, head over to Settings > System Update > Settings Icon > Trial version on your iQOO 9 Pro and enroll for the same. Do note that your iQOO 9 Pro unit should be running the latest system version 12.0.5.8 or above before you proceed to the application. Do note that the company will accept the application on a first come first serve basis and only 500 users will get the Android 13 update initially. 

The same applies for the Vivo X80 Pro as well. Only 500 users will be able to try the Android 13 update first. If you wish to enroll for the Android 13 beta program on your Vivo X80 Pro head over to Settings > System Update > Settings Icon (in the top-right corner) > Trial version and apply for the same.

Do note that the Android 13 beta may contain some bugs and some of the third-party applications may not work. So, if you are using either of the aforementioned devices as your daily driver, we recommend you to not install this update just now. Considering that both these companies are seeding the Android 13 beta now, we might see a stable Android 13 update arriving on any of these devices soon.
