Vivo Y22s With 6.5-inch IPS LCD Display, Snapdragon 680 Processor Launched

Vivo has launched the new Y-series smartphone, the Vivo Y22s, in the Vietnam market. The Y22s is a budget-oriented 4G smartphone from Vivo that comes with a 6.55-inch IPS LCD display. The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor and packs up to 8GB of RAM. The phone features a dual-camera setup, polycarbonate body with a flat frame, an 8MP selfie camera and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Vivo Y22s Pricing, Availability

The Vivo Y22s is priced at VND 59,90,000 (roughly ₹20,455). The device comes in a sole 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. The phone is available for sale through the Vivo online store, Shopee, and Lazada in Vietnam. The handset comes in Starlit Blue and Summer Cyan colorways. As of now, there is no word regarding the global and India availability of the Vivo Y22s.

The Vivo Y22s sports a 6.55-inch IPS LCD display that has HD+ resolution. The display panel has up to 90Hz refresh rate, 70% NTSC color gamut, and 530 nits peak brightness. On the software front, the smartphone boots Android 12 out of the box with FuntouchOS 12 on top. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor which is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The back of the device consists of a dual-camera setup which comprises a 50MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP macro lens. On the front side, the handset sports an 8MP camera. The smartphone draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Furthermore, the handset has microSD card support, 8GB of Virtual RAM, and a fingerprint sensor.

The device offers connectivity features such as dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone measures 164.30×76.10×8.38mm in terms of dimensions and weighs around 192 grams.
