Xbox Series S India Price Hiked Again, Now Starts At ₹37,990

According to reports, the price of the Xbox Series S consoles will increase in India. The new-generation gaming console from Microsoft now has a starting price of ₹37,990. This is a price increase of about 8.5 percent over the Series S initial launch price of ₹34,990. The increase went into effect on August 6 and appears to be related to the Indian Rupee’s (INR) depreciation versus the US Dollar (USD).

Microsoft had previously increased the price of the Xbox Series S next-generation console by about 6 percent in June, raising it from its initial price of ₹34,990 to ₹36,990. The price has increased by 2.7 percent, bringing the cost up to ₹37,990 from the most recent revision. Microsoft India most recently increased the Series X costs by 6 percent in July, thus increasing the price to ₹52,990. The price of the bestselling Xbox console when it first debuted in India was ₹49,990.

For the time being, the Series S is listed at its original price of ₹34,990 on both Microsoft Store and Amazon India. The console is now in stock and will ship in six days according to Amazon. The updated Series S console, which costs ₹27,999, is another option. Reliance Digital and Flipkart both still show the Series S at ₹34,990, although the item is out of stock in the latter.
