Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil a new flagship smartphone, dubbed the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. The company had recently confirmed that the smartphone will launch in China in July. However, the exact launch date of the device was not known. A fresh report has popped up suggesting that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will make its debut in China on July 5, 2022. Xiaomi 12 Ultra Launch Date, Specifications (Expected)

According to a TechGoing report, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will launch on the same day as the ASUS ROG Phone 6, that is, July 5. The report further suggests that the company will start teasing the launch of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra starting from June 28.

To recall, Xiaomi has partnered with a German camera maker, Leica, to power the flagship smartphone’s camera. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra will come powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

Based on previous leaks, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra might feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO panel that offers 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone could be backed by a 4,800mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. In terms of imaging, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra is said to offer a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP main camera and a 20MP selfie shooter.
