Xiaomi is reportedly working on its Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro devices for the global audience. The more expensive of the two, the Xiaomi 12T Pro, is now speculated to pack in a monstrous 200MP primary camera. If the reports hold true, it will join the Moto X30 Pro which is said to be the world’s first smartphone to debut with a 200MP sensor.
Xiaomi 12T Pro: Specifications (Rumoured)
According to a report, The Pixel, a Vietnamese YouTube channel, revealed some key aspects of the upcoming flagship smartphone by Xiaomi. According to the video, the Xiaomi 12T Pro may arrive in Vietnam by the end of 2022. It will be powered by a flagship processor but is expected to undercut the recently unveiled Xiaomi 12S smartphones. The Xiaomi 12T Pro will come with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which is based on TSMC’s 4nm fabrication process.
Initial online reviews of the Asus ROG Phone 6, which comes with the same processor, suggest that it has definite improvements in terms of thermals and battery efficiency over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. So, the Xiaomi 12T Pro could be an ideal choice for hardcore gaming.

In a flagship phone like this, it would be safe to assume that it would get LPDDR4x or LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage type.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro will sport an OLED display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. It is likely to use a Samsung-made AMOLED display. The handset will pack in a 5,000mAh battery and will come with 120W fast charging support. The same device will be rebranded as the Redmi K50S Pro and has recently bagged the 3C certification in China, suggesting that the launch is imminent. It will be joined by the vanilla Xiaomi 12T, a.k.a. the Redmi K50S, which will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Ultra chipset.
