Xiaomi has finally confirmed that it will launch the 12T series of smartphones on October 4, 2022. The lineup is said to consist of two smartphones—the Xiaomi 12T and the Xiaomi 12T Pro. The brand has confirmed that the upcoming Xiaomi 12T series will feature a 200MP camera. Let us take a look at the other specifications and features of the upcoming Xiaomi 12T series smartphones.

Based on previous reports, we can expect the Pro variant to arrive with a triple rear camera setup with a Samsung HP1 200MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro unit. On the other hand, the vanilla Xiaomi 12T is said to feature a 108MP camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro unit.

There have been reports suggesting that the Xiaomi 12T Pro will come equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The smartphone is said to sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1,220×2,712 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. In contrast, the Xiaomi 12T will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The Xiaomi 12T will reportedly be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor.
In terms of storage, the vanilla variant might be launched in two variants: 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. Meanwhile the Pro variant is expected to arrive in 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB storage options. The upcoming Xiaomi 12T series smartphones are reported to be offered in three colour options: Clear Blue, Cosmic Black, and Lunar Silver. There is no information available on the pricing of the Xiaomi 12T and the Xiaomi 12T Pro yet.
