Xiaomi Book Air 13 2-in-1 Laptop With 12th Gen Intel Processors, OLED Display Launched: Price, Specifications

At the launch event of the Redmi Note 12 series that features a massive 200MP camera, Xiaomi also unveiled the Xiaomi Book Air 13, a 13.3-inch laptop with an OLED display and latest Intel CPUs. The company also launched a new Redmi TV, Redmi Projector, and an electric heater at the launch event in China. 

Xiaomi Book Air 13: Specifications and Features 

The Xiaomi Book Air 13 features a 13.3-inch E4 OLED display with a 2880×1800 pixel resolution, and 60Hz refresh rate along with 600 nits of brightness. The display has thin bezels around it and is VESA Display HDR500 and Dolby Vision certified, ensuring high quality multimedia experience, along with DC Dimming and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. There’s also a sheet of Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.

It sports a 2-in-1 design with a 360-degree hinge and touchscreen support, ensuring the laptop also doubles up as a tablet. Weighing just 1.2 kg and at 12mm thickness, it is also quite portable and is Xiaomi’s thinnest and lightest laptop till date. It’s built out of 6-series aluminum alloy treated with CNC carving. 

The laptop comes in two hardware configurations—one with an Intel Core i7 1250U CPU and another Intel Core i5 1230U processors. These are the power efficient laptop processors under the 12th Gen family. Both variants can be configured with up to 16GB LPDDR5 5200MHz RAM along with 512GB PCIe 4.0 flash storage. 

The laptop features a pair of Dolby Atmos certified speakers along with two tweeters. There are two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi 6. 

The laptop has a backlit keyboard with a glass touchpad. The power button has the fingerprint sensor embedded and there’s also an 8-megapixel camera for video calls. The laptop runs on Windows 11 out of the box. 

Xiaomi Book Air 13: Price And Availability 

The Xiaomi Book Air 13 is priced at RMB 4,999 (roughly ₹56,900) for the Core i5 variant, while the Core i7 variant is priced at RMB 5,599 (roughly ₹63,800). The laptop comes in a single white colour variant.
