Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Launched in India: Price, Availability, Specifications

On Friday, Xiaomi launched the Mi 11 Ultra smartphone in India. The phone was announced in the Indian market at a virtual launch event where the brand also launched the Mi 11X series and the Mi QLED TV 75-inch. The Mi 11 Ultra is currently the flagship smartphone from the company and it competes with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and Vivo X60 Pro Plus.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra price in India is Rs 69,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. It is the only configuration on offer in the Indian market.

Xiaomi has announced when will the Mi 11 Ultra go on sale in India but it did reveal that the phone will be available to purchase exclusively from Xiaomi’s official online store in the country and Amazon India.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra specifications

The Mi 11 Ultra comes with a 6.81-inch AMOLED display. It features QHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. According to the brand, the screen can reach 900 nits maximum sustained brightness and 1,700 nits maximum peak brightness.

Interestingly, the Mi 11 Ultra has a secondary display mounted on the camera hump at the rear. It is a 1.1-inch AMOLED display that you can use to check notifications or use as a viewfinder.

The Mi 11 Ultra features a 50MP primary camera at the rear with OIS. Accompanying it is a 48MP ultrawide camera and a 48MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom. The primary camera can record 4K videos at 60 frames per second and 8K videos at 24 frames per second. For selfies, you get a 20MP camera with Full HD video recording.

Powering the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is the Snapdragon 888 processor, the flagship chipset from Qualcomm at the moment. The phone has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device comes loaded with the Android 11 OS with MIUI 12.5 on top.

The Mi 11 Ultra has a 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired and 67W wireless charging. There is also 10W reverse wireless charging on offer. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, dual-5G, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, NFC, infrared blaster, and a USB Type-C port. The Mi 11 Ultra also features IP68 water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
