Xiaomi had launched the Mi 11 Ultra in India back in April 2021. It has been since two months since the device was announced for the Indian market, but customers are still waiting for the phone’s sale to start in the country. Earlier, Xiaomi had mentioned that the Mi 11 Ultra’s sale was delayed due to circumstances beyond its control and that it is trying hard to make the smartphone available for purchase. In a recent development, a report by India Today Tech reveals that the Mi 11 Ultra will go on sale in India in early July 2021. The publication claim to have learned that Mi Homes have started registering customer interest regarding the Mi 11 Ultra and it will start reaching out to them from the first week of July 2021.

However, there are high chances that the device sale would begin in India starting the first week of July 2021. If not, the device will go on sale at least in the first half of July, claims India Today Tech.
The report further states that customers don’t need to pay any amount while registering their interest. Retailers will start reaching out to buyers when the units are in stock, and then the amount will be charged at the time of the final billing. The handset is tipped to go on sale even online starting from the first week of July 2021.

The Mi 11 Ultra features a 6.41-inch E4 AMOLED display with WQHD+ 3200×1440 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 flagship chipset. The phone ships with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device boots Android 11-based MIUI 12. As for the camera, the phone features a triple-camera setup at the back. The rear-facing camera module incorporates a 50MP ISOCELL GN2 sensor (1/1.12-inch), a 48MP ultrawide camera (1/2-inch), and a 48MP telephoto camera (1/2-inch) with a 5x optical zoom periscope lens. For selfies and video-calling, the device uses a 20MP front-facing camera.
The smartphone comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. The Mi 11 Ultra also has 67W fast Qi wireless charging support. The device has an in-display fingerprint scanner, a dual-SIM card slot, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Connectivity features of the Mi 11 Ultra include dual-frequency GPS, 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port. Dimensions-wise, the handset measures around 164.3×74.6×8.38mm, and weighs 234grams. The Mi 11 Ultra price in India starts around ₹69,999.
