Xiaomi is expected to launch its flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 12 Pro, in India on April 27 alongside the Xiaomi Pad 5. Today, the company teased another product, the new Xiaomi Smart TV 5A, which would also be available in India on the same day. This will be the successor of the Xiaomi TV 4A, which was released in 2018 and catapulted the TV to the top of the Smart TV market in India.

For starters, the new Smart TV 5A lineup could include a bezel-less design, as seen on the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition back in 2020. It will also include strong, immersive audio, a premium, seamless finish, and an A55 processor, according to the teaser.
The TV may include Dolby and DTS support, PatchWall enhancements, and the company’s in-house Vivid Picture Engine. There is no indication on what TV sizes will be available in this new Xiaomi Smart TV 5A lineup, although we could see a 32-inch model.
Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G Features
As previously stated, Xiaomi will also release the 12 Pro and Pad 5 in addition to the Smart TV 5A. The Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G features a big Samsung E5 AMOLED display with a dynamic refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It has three rear cameras, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX707 main sensor.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Features
The Xiaomi Pad 5, on the other hand, signals the company’s comeback to the Android tablet market. The tablet has been released globally and features an 11-inch 2.5K LCD panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by the Snapdragon 860 SoC and can accommodate up to 6GB of RAM. It has a single 13-megapixel camera sensor on the back and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. The Xiaomi Pad 5 is powered by an 8,720mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities.
