Amazon has introduced its 2022 version of the Fire TV Stick Lite in India. It replaces the original Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite, which was launched back in 2020 in the country. The 2022 Fire TV Stick lite now comes bundled with an all-new Alexa Voice Remote Lite. The remote control is still devoid of power or volume controls just like its predecessor.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite (2022) comes with an identical design with compact dimensions. It is slightly lighter at 44 grams compared to the previous iteration. The TV stick is made up of 50 percent post-consumer recycled plastics and the remote is made from 20 percent post-consumer recycled plastics. 

The Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite (2022) is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor with IMG GE8300 GPU. It supports 1080p video streaming with HDR10+ and HLG support. For connectivity, it gets dual-band Wi-Fi, dual antennas, and Bluetooth v5.0. The TV stick comes equipped with 8GB of internal storage. The bundled Alexa Voice Remote Lite now comes with dedicated buttons to access Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music, and Netflix audio and video streaming apps. It also includes a button to access other apps. Alternatively, you can trigger Alexa voice assistant by pressing the dedicated blue coloured button at the top. 

The Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite (2022) offers access to TV channels such as Colors, Sony Set, Discovery+, News18, DD National, SonyLIV, and more. You can stream content from YouTube, Disney+ Hotstar, Voot, Prime Video, Netflix, and more. Also, you can enjoy audio through Amazon Music, Gaana, and other services. You will get a complimentary one-year subscription to ZEE5, SonyLIV, and Voot Select with it.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite (2022) with the all-new Alexa Voice Remote Lite is priced at ₹2,999. The older model is now available at a discounted price of ₹2,499. It comes in a sole black colour variant.
