As promised, Apple has finally released the iOS 16.0.3 update to address various issues reported with the iOS 16. The update is followed by the release of iOS 16.0.2, which offered a few crucial bug fixes for the iPhone 14 and older models. Similarly, the latest iOS 16 update brings along additional bug fixes and certain performance improvements for notifications, the camera app, and more.
The exact build number of the update is 20A392. To update your iPhone to iOS 16.0.3 you can head to the Settings app > General > Software Update. The update is available for all iPhones running on iOS 16, which includes the iPhone 8 and newer models.
Apple iOS 16.0.3 Update: Here’s What’s New
Once installed, the latest Apple iOS 16.0.3 update will offer fixes to various iOS 16 bugs including:
- Incoming call and app notifications may be delayed or not delivered on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
- Low microphone volume can occur during CarPlay phone calls on iPhone 14 models.
- Camera may be slow to launch or switch between modes on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
- Mail crashes on launch after receiving a malformed email.

Furthermore, the update will also address the annoying copy-and-paste alerts and the camera shaking problem for iPhone 14 Pro. However, it is still not confirmed whether the latest software update for iOS will be able to troubleshoot the battery drain issue brought up by several iPhone users. The issue is mainly reported for the new iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Pro models. Meanwhile, Apple has also started to beta test iOS 16.1 with developers and public beta users to focus on new features.
