Apple is reported to be working on the next-gen iPad which will be powered by the A14 Bionic processor. Now, leaked CAD renders of the upcoming iPad 2022 have surfaced online, offering a sneak peek at its design.

According to a report from MySmartPrice, the outlet has managed to get its hands on raw CAD renders through a case maker. Going by the leaked images, there’s a camera island at the back, comprising one sensor and an LED flash.

Meanwhile, at the bottom there’s the Home button with an embedded fingerprint sensor. Unfortunately, there’s a red sticker on the iPad’s charging port, so we cannot say if it will switch to a USB Type-C or retain the lightning port.
Apple iPad 2022: Expected Specifications
The new entry-level iPad is rumoured to be powered by the A14 Bionic chipset, which is a Hexa-core processor coupled with a quad-core Apple GPU. The 2020 iPad Air also features the same chipset. The upcoming tablet is touted to support 5G capability and feature a USB Type-C port for charging and connectivity.

Furthermore, the 2022 iPad is rumoured to feature a bigger 10.5-inch or 10.9-inch display. The iPad will likely come with an upgraded LCD panel.
