ASUS ROG Phone 5S and ROG Phone 5S Pro Launching in India on February 15

Last year, ASUS took the wraps off its ASUS ROG Phone 5S and ASUS ROG Phone 5S Pro in the global market. The brand is now gearing up to unveil both these smartphones in the Indian market. ASUS has confirmed that its ASUS ROG Phone 5S and ASUS ROG Phone 5S Pro gaming smartphones will launch in India on February 15 via an online launch event. Both devices feature a whopping 144Hz refresh rate AMOLED panel and are powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 888+ processor. ASUS ROG Phone 5S/5G Pro Indian Launch Confirmed

ASUS has confirmed the launch of its ASUS ROG Phone 5S family of smartphones in India via a media invite, which mentions a February 15 launch that is set to start at 12:00 pm IST. Both devices will be sold via Flipkart in the country.

As for the specifications, both devices feature a large 6.78-inch FHD+ 144Hz Samsung E3 AMOLED panel with a 20.4:9 aspect ratio, 111% DCI-P3 color gamut, Delta E average <1%, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

Under the hood, the ASUS ROG Phone 5S family comes powered by up to 3GHz octa-core Snapdragon 888+ processor, which is paired with 16GB/18GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB/512GB of UFS3.1 storage. On the software front, the ASUS ROG Phone 5S and the ASUS ROG Phone 5S Pro boot Android 11-based ROG UI out of the box.

For photography, both devices feature a 64MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 5MP macro shooter. At the front, there’s a 24MP selfie snapper found on both devices.

Speaking of the battery, the ASUS ROG Phone 5S and the ASUS ROG Phone 5S Pro boast of a humongous 6,000mAh cell, which has support for up to 65W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. Both devices have a 3.5mm headphone jack, front-facing speakers with GameFX and Dirac HD Sound, and Quad microphones with OZO Noise Reduction Technology.
