ASUS recently launched the ASUS Zenfone 9 in the global market, and it is now reportedly gearing up to launch the device in India, albeit with a changed name. The ASUS Zenfone 9 could launch in India as the ASUS 9Z. We can expect the ASUS 9Z to come to India sometime in September 2022.
The ASUS 9Z has a compact form factor owing to a 5.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED HDR10+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the ASUS 9Z comes powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which is paired with 8GB/16GB RAM and 256GB onboard memory. It runs Android 12-based ZenUI 9 out of the box. The phone has a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP selfie camera. The ASUS 9Z is powered by a 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging over the USB Type-C port.
The ASUS Zenfone 9 or the ASUS 9Z could be a good choice for those who want a compact high-end smartphone with a relatively stock-ish Android software experience.
2. Apple iPhone 14

Apple has confirmed that its next launch event is scheduled for September 7, 2022. This is when we can expect the company to unveil the iPhone 14 series, which would consist of at least three models: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 is expected to be the cheapest of the three, and it could continue to feature a dual-camera setup on the rear and Face ID security.
The iPhone 14 is expected to feature the same A15 Bionic processor which is present in the iPhone 13. The device could have 6GB RAM and at least 128GB of internal storage. It could also be available in 256GB and 512GB variants. The Apple iPhone 14 Pro is said to come with a 6.1-inch OLED display with an adaptive refresh rate and a punch-hole+pill-shaped cutout for the front camera and the Face ID system. The device is tipped to come powered by the upcoming Apple A16 Bionic processor, which will be paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and up to 1TB onboard storage. The iPhone 14 Pro will boot iOS 16 out of the box.
The iPhone 14 Pro is said to feature a 48MP main camera with OIS. This is the first time Apple would be using a 48MP camera system in its iPhones. Reports have suggested that Apple might shrink the iPhone 14 Pro Max a little, but it will hopefully not impact its battery life too much due to a more power-efficient A16 Bionic processor.

Not too long ago, iQOO unveiled the iQOO Z6 in India and is now reportedly working to bring its Lite variant to the country. The iQOO Z6 Lite is tipped to launch in India in September 2022, and if you are a fan of iQOO smartphones, you can get your hands on the iQOO Z6 Lite next month.
The iQOO Z6 Lite is likely going to be a 4G smartphone and will reportedly come powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is tipped to be the renamed Moto X30 Pro that launched in China a few weeks ago. India OnePlus Nord fans might get treated with the OnePlus Nord 3 in September 2022. OnePlus is expected to release the third iteration of its mid-range Nord series smartphones sometime next month.

The long-awaited Realme GT Neo 3T will finally launch in India in September 2022, as the company has started teasing the arrival of the device. The Realme GT Neo 3T offers a 6.62-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, up to 1,300 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Powering the Realme GT Neo 3T is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, which is coupled with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. The device has a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP selfie camera. Lastly, the Realme GT Neo 3T has a 5,000mAh battery with support for up to 80W fast charging.
