Google has started rolling out a new software update to the Pixel Buds Pro. The latest update brings along an essential feature called the 5-band Graphic Equaliser. It allows TWS users to customize the sound as per their preference. You can use a Graphic Equaliser on audio devices to boost or cut sounds within a particular frequency range. It also helps users to alter the bass of music, thus improving their listening experience.

However, the tech giant has released the feature in due time to finally allow users to customize the sound using different settings. In case you don’t want to keep playing with the slides to achieve that optimal listening experience, you can choose between multiple presets tuned by Google audio engineers.

To receive the new features, you need to update your Pixel Buds app to version 1.0.474476083 or newer and your Pixel Buds Pro firmware to version 3.14. Then head to Bluetooth settings > Device Details > Sound > Custom Equalizer to get started. The latest Google Pixel Buds Pro update is currently being rolled out, and it will take about a week till it finally reaches all users.
Do note that once you have configured your preferred settings using the 5-band graphic equalizer feature, they will be stored on your Pixel Buds Pro even if you choose to switch between different devices. Lastly, the update also introduces new controls for left/right balance, alongside general bug fixes and improvements to the Pixel Buds Pro.
