The arrival of SharePlay suggests that Apple is ready to release this feature to all users right with iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1 stable updates. SharePlay was released with the iOS 15 Beta 2 release, but the company removed this feature with the next updates. Apple had previously confirmed that the SharePlay feature won’t be available on iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 public release.
SharePlay allows users to play and share music, movies, and TV shows with friends while being on video calls through supported apps. It also allows video chat and even screen sharing. The SharePlay feature is supported by Disney+, HBO Max, Twitch, and Hulu.

Coming to tvOS 15.1, the new software update brings some minor changes. Apple has not officially revealed any details as to what the tvOS 15.1 offers. Apple has also released a new software update for the HomePod. The device now runs HomePod 15.1 software version which adds Lossless and Dolby Atmos music playback with Spatial Audio support.
The company has also released the watchOS 8.1 Beta update to developers. Similar to the tvOS 15.1, it is not known yet as to what new features are introduced with watchOS 8.1 Beta. If you want to update your Apple smartwatch to watchOS 8.1, make sure it has 50% battery life. Additionally, you will need to place the smartwatch on the charger and make sure that the iPhone is within the range of the Apple Watch. You won’t be able to downgrade the software once you install watchOS 8.1 Beta on your compatible Apple Watch, though.
