Apart from releasing the macOS 12.2 software update, Apple has released the iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 software update today. The newly released software versions don’t bring any major changes. However, these new builds fix a bug that leaked users’ browsing activity. The software update basically fixes a Safari vulnerability that may have been leaking users’ browsing history and Google ID data to the websites visited.

The update also fixes a bug which allowed any website using a specific JavaScript API to access the names of other databases generated by other websites during the same browsing session. What it means is that the bug basically allowed a malicious website to spy on other websites that a Safari user visits.

The new iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 should now be available on compatible iPhone and iPad models. To update your device to the latest software version, head over to Settings > General > Software Update to download and install the new update. There are other vulnerabilities fixed by iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 too, which you can find on Apple’s website.

Apart from releasing the iOS 15.3, iPadOS 15.3, and macOS 12.2, Apple has also released the watchOS 8.4 software update for Apple Watch users. The new update fixes bugs and brings performance improvements. You can update your Apple Watch to the latest watchOS 8.4 by going to the Settings app on your Apple Watch or by using the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
