Apple is expected to launch its next-generation iPhone 14 series on September 13 this year. While there is no official confirmation on the launch timeline of the upcoming iPhone 14, a new report has divulged some production-related details. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will manufacture the iPhone 14 units in India. Let us take a look at the details.
Apple iPhone 14 Will Reportedly Be Made In India
The analyst claims that Apple will produce the new 6.1-inch iPhone 14 units at Foxconn’s production site in India. The devices will be manufactured almost simultaneously with China for the first time in 2022. According to Kuo, the manufacturing process has started in India a quarter or more later than China.
Owing to multiple geo-political issues worldwide and the COVID-19 lockdown, Apple had been facing supply chain constraints with Chinese manufacturers. Therefore, the company has reportedly constructed a non-Chinese iPhone production site in India. However, the iPhone Pro models will not be made in India.
