Jio Air Fiber 5G Wi-Fi Router Will Bring Better-Than-Broadband Speeds Across India

On Monday, Jio Air Fiber was introduced during the Reliance AGM 2022. The telco is ready to expand the availability of ultra-high-speed fixed broadband solutions across the nation, and that too wirelessly. Jio will do this by utilising plug-and-play 5G capable routers, which were presented during the company’s annual AGM.

In essence, Jio Air Fiber is a wireless plug-and-play 5G hotspot that can be set up at work or at home without a hassle. During Reliance’s AGM, a demo reel of the product was showcased which showed the 5G router in action. Jio promised that Air Fiber users will enjoy high-speed fiber-like broadband speeds wirelessly through the company’s equipment.

The Jio Air Fiber router will use Jio 5G infra and may use the same data plans. Users who are always on the move or do not want to set up an expensive internet setup at their home or place of employment will find this to be an excellent option. Jio demonstrated how consumers will be able to broadcast numerous camera views of a sporting event concurrently in high quality with the aid of 5G during the Reliance AGM 2022, which largely focused on 5G.

The Jio Air Fiber 5G hotspot device’s release date has not been announced by the company yet. The telco plans to provide 5G services in a few cities by Diwali 2022, with a bigger deployment to follow next year. In places where 5G setups have been installed, it is anticipated that the Jio Air Fiber will be made available after Diwali.
