LG Electronics has announced the LG Ultra PC lineup of laptops which arrive with screen sizes of 16 and 17 inches. The latest series of laptops are designed to be sleek and portable, making it suitable for multiple use cases. Let’s have a look at what the 2022 LG Ultra PC has on offer.
2022 LG Ultra PC: Specifications, Features
The 2022 LG Ultra PC lineup is available in a 17-inch size (model 17U70Q) and 16-inch size (model 6U70Q). The former is powered by a a 12th Gen Intel Core processor and NVIDIA RTX 3050 GPU. It is accompanied by a Gen4 NVMe SSD and DDR5 RAM2. Meanwhile, the 16-inch model comes with the AMD Ryzen processor, NVMe SSD, and LPDDR4 RAM.
As for the display, the 17-inch model has a 16:10 aspect ratio, WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600) resolution IPS panel, and covers 99 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. On the other hand, the 16-inch laptop has a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution IPS panel. LG adds that its advanced IPS displays come with anti-glare coating.

Meanwhile, the 16-inch model measures 14.02 x 9.67 x 0.64 inches and weighs 1.64kg. It packs a 72Wh battery.
Furthermore, the 2022 LG Ultra PC laptops utilise LG Glance by Mirametrix, which is an AI-based technology. With this, the laptop will sense if the user has stepped away from the laptop and will automatically lock the screen. Moreover, it also safeguards you from the prying eyes of your boss, by blurring the screen if someone tries to glance over your shoulder.
That’s not all, the latest LG Ultra PC models also offer useful features for video conferencing, such as AI-noise cancelling. The laptop has a sleek design and an impressive screen-to-body ratio.
2022 LG Ultra PC: Price, Availability
The LG Ultra PC 17-inch (model 17U70Q) costs $1599 (around ₹1,27,320). On the other hand, the LG Ultra PC 16-inch (model 16U70Q) is priced at $1299 (around ₹1,03,430). The laptops can be purchased in the US from LG.com and select LG-authorized retailers.
