Motorola’s flagship foldable smartphone, the Moto Razr 2022, was initially scheduled to launch on August 2, 2022. The launch was later postponed to August 11, 2022. However, since the Moto Razr 2022’s chief competitor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is launching today, the brand has revealed its price, some images, and key aspects of the device.

Its price is low when compared to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4’s expected price of $999 (approx. ₹79,500). Motorola will announce the global pricing at a later date. It is likely that this device will arrive soon in India.
Moto Razr 2022: Features, Specifications
The Moto Razr 2022 sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. It has a 10-bit panel and comes with a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother UI transitions. The cover screen is now bigger at 2.7 inches with an 800 x 573 display resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The handset comes with a thickness of 7.62mm when unfolded and 16.99mm thickness when folded.
Unlike the previous Moto Razr 2019 which came with mid-range chipsets, the Moto Razr 2022 gets a flagship processor. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which also powers the Moto X30 Pro and other devices such as the Asus ROG Phone 6 series, OnePlus 10T, and iQOO 9T, among others.
The foldable smartphone comes with a dual camera setup comprising a 50MP primary camera sensor with OIS. It is accompanied by a 13MP ultrawide shooter. Selfies and video calling duties are handled by the 32MP camera housed in the punch-hole camera cutout on the top of the main screen.
The Moto Razr 2022 will pack in a bigger battery compared to its predecessor and is expected to come with 33W fast charging support. It will run on Android 12 out of the box. We’ll be listing the full specifications when it launches tomorrow.
