Motorola’s highly anticipated 200MP camera phone, the Moto X30 Pro, and the Moto Razr 2022 foldable device were slated to launch on August 2, 2022, in China. To the disappointment of its fans, the brand pulled the plug on the launch event at the last moment, likely due to political tensions in the country.
Now, Lenovo China’s General Manager, Chen Jin, has officially confirmed that the Moto X30 Pro, Moto Razr 2022, and Moto S30 Pro will launch in China on August 11, 2022. The brand also shared a teaser image showcasing the three new smartphones.
Moto X30 Pro, Moto Razr 2022, Moto S30 Pro: Highlights
The Moto X30 Pro, aka Motorola Frontier, could sport a 6.67-inch pOLED curved screen with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The smartphone is confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. For photography, it will come with a never seen before 200MP primary camera sensor, accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide shooter and a 12MP telephoto sensor. As per rumours, it will be powered by a 4,450mAh battery with support for 125W fast charging.
The Moto Razr 2022 will sport a 6.67-inch OLED panel and a 2.65-inch OLED cover screen. Unlike its predecessors which came with mid-range processors, the Moto Razr 2022 gets a flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The device will come with up to 18GB RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, it gets a dual camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor. The Moto Razr 2022 will pack in a bigger battery compared to its predecessor and will come with 33W fast charging.

It comes with a premium metal construction, a curved display, and a leather back finish. According to rumour mills, the Moto S30 Pro will flaunt a 6.55-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. With this smartphone, Motorola will be targeting the few customers who want a premium smartphone with compact dimensions. The S30 Pro is said to be powered by an older Snapdragon 888+ chipset and will be equipped with up to 12GB of RAM. The Moto S30 will pack in a 4270mAh battery coupled with 68W fast charging support.
