Motorola’s new flagship smartphones, the Moto X30 Pro and Moto Razr 2022 were slated to launch on August 2, 2022 in China. However, the launch event was scrapped at the last moment, likely due to the increasing political tensions between China and Taiwan. It came as a bummer as the world was excited about the world’s first 200MP camera phone and an improved foldable device from the company. Interestingly, the pre-booking page of the devices is now live, hinting that they may go on sale on August 11, 2022.
There are chances that there may not be a launch event at all, as the Lenovo-backed company hasn’t revealed the new dates for it. According to a report, the Moto X30 Pro and Moto Razr 2022 are already listed for pre-order on JD.com. As per the listing, the deadline for the pre-order is 19:59 on August 11. Additionally, Motorola official Chen Jin teased the Moto Razr 2022 foldable smartphone with a clock on its cover screen displaying the time 2:00 PM on August 11, indicating its possible launch time and date.
