OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei’s new startup, Nothing, is gearing up to launch its first-ever smartphone on July 12, 2022. According to a report, the brand is planning to partner with Reliance Digital for the offline sale of its Nothing Phone (1) in India.
The brand had earlier made a similar tie-up with Flipkart, wherein the online sales of the Nothing Phone (1) will be handled exclusively by Flipkart. The pre-order pass details are live on its portal. Pei has introduced the “Invite” system similar to the strategy adopted by OnePlus in its initial days.
To book your device online, you will have to purchase the Nothing Phone (1) Pre-Order Pass. Then, you will receive an invite code via mail. You will then be prompted to pay a refundable deposit of ₹2,000 to complete the pre-booking. On the launch day, July 12, 9 PM onwards, you will have to log in to Flipkart to pay the remaining amount in order to confirm the order.
